New for 2018 - Soybean adventure

Illinois has festivals for many well-known products such as corn, strawberries, rhubarb, horseradish, roses, pumpkins and wine to name a few. Why not soybeans? Illinois has been the top producer 4 out of the last 5 years. It is time to give soybeans the recognition they too deserve!

The first ever Soybean Adventure will be July 21, 2018 from 9am to 3pm in Waterman. Come and discover the many products made from soybeans. Learn a lot of facts about soybean farming.

The Soybean Adventure hosted by Waterman-Shabbona Business Association will partner with Waterman Lions Club Summerfest and Antique Tractor & Truck Show.

Kevin and The Infinite Possibilities - 2018 Kid's Show

New this year. Kevin and the Infinite Possibilities is the energetic universe of fun and self-expression. The idea blossomed from the creative heart of Kevin Farris: singer/songwriter and independent pop/rock artist. Between his musical pursuits and working in a classroom setting, he decided to fuse his passion for music and the unbridled creativity that comes from working with children.

“Kids know how to live from the creative/free place that we all teach ourselves out of as adults. We need to encourage self-awareness and cultivate that sense of wonder and awe that is so natural to being a kid.” With a high energy interactive set of songs, Kevin truly opens up the room to the world of infinite possibilities. Sponsored by the Clinton Township Library.
